Six Points: Night #2

Thanks to everyone who came out to Night #1 of the Six Points Music Festival 2005 and to all the bands. Welcome to all the Express readers who saw today's ad (p.24) and came here to find more information.

Night #2 of the festival brings two more shows--one at Dr. Dremo's Taphouse and one at Ragtime--both in the Courthouse section of Arlington. For the full festival schedule, click here.

For musicians or anyone interested, there will be a seminar sponsored by the Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) prior to tonight's show at Dr. Dremo's, from 6:30pm to 8pm.. To learn more about the seminar, titled "Maximizing Your Song's Potential," click here.

And, looking to some of this weekend's Six Point's shows, there was also this mention in Club Picks (p.29) by Celeste Dawn Mitchell in today's Express:
SUNDAY
With shows on both sides of the river, it's a good night to stop in on Arlington's second annual Six Points Music Festival. Iota features Billy Coulter, Brother Shamus and Little Pink. Or, catch Madam's Organ's line-up of Jasmine Blue, Marshall Artz, and Rude Dog's Rhythm Revue.
